Sunday is a sunny day! This is what I looked forward to, shopping!! We grouped together with the Chinese students in groups of 10 and got on into their public bus and went straight for the city. When we got there, the streets remind me of Orchard road. It is so busy, cars up travelling up and down, branded shops and a lot of food. It reminds me of Orchard. So with my new 4 China friends named Xiao Jie, Liu Jiao, Quan Yong and the other I forgot, we walked around the city buying shoes and clothes and they are so cheap!!! I bought a red checkered shirt and it cost me only S$17 only! We settle down at Dico’s (China KFC) for lunch, chit chat with our new friends to know one another better, 2 girls and 2 boys. They are very friendly to us and we got closer as we shopped longer by hour after hour. Our last stop was shopping for groceries at the local supermarket buying necessities like milo, eggs, sweets and instant noodles. We took a bus back and along the way to kill time, I showed them videos of them dancing during the Friday night performance with my mobile phone. At 7pm, we got back to school campus and exchange phone numbers to contact each other for future hangouts. We were so close together that we took dinner together in the campus, talking about our different lifestyles, our school routine and others. We end the day by having a night walk and eating ice cream.
